I own a 182FF (Full Fat) from 2004 (and have had the car for 3yrs now) and drive 160km a day (motorway)
I have only had 3 problems so far (new Xenon lamp unit) which was fixed under guarantee, new shocks on the rear, and a new alternator. That said I have damp in the passenger footwell which I am unsure what this is, but it has always been there.

So I would say mine is very reliable, starts always, never any other minor faults.
If buying a Cup check the suspension because it is really expensive to replace (Sachs dampers I believe)

Cannot recommend it more highly
